MINI Study

The Multicenter Inventory of Neonatal-Perinatal Interventions (MINI) study serves as a registry detailing outcomes and practices for all deliveries and infants admitted to intensive care at 22-23 weeks’ gestation at participating hospitals. Data collected in this study are used for real-time assessment of local perinatal care practices to serve as the basis for local changes/quality improvement. The study may identify “potentially better practices” requiring further evaluation.

HumidITI Trial

All very preterm babies admitted to the NICU are cared for in incubators with humidity. However, doctors and nurses are unsure of how much humidity to use. This study compares two commonly used humidity settings in incubators for infants <25 weeks' gestation, starting at 70% relative humidity and 90% relative humidity.
